The Theatre on the Track was purpose-built for the creation of imaginative and theatrical events.

Designed to accommodate technically complex events, The Theatre on the Track is ideal for functions where there is an element of technical creativity. The venue's are fitted with sound, lighting and audio visual equipment with is available for hire thus saving the organiser both time and expense and providing the creative event co-ordinator with all the tools to create a memorable function or conference.

The Theatre on the Track is unique in that a full-time stage manager is employed to ensure the smooth-running of the event from a technical point of view. No other venue in South Africa has the same level of in-house technical setup, expertise and support. The Theatre's stage manager, Ivor Curgenven, works closely with production companies and outsourced technicians to create events that make the most of the available equipment.

The venues at The Theatre On The Track were built with practicality in mind. Every possible need has been anticipated and, combined with the expertise of the banqueting and technical staff ensures a hassle-free event.
